Meet IT aka Thang

Meet IT aka Thang
Hope the New Year has begun well for all. As for our family we are doing well. Today note is from Thang whom I have "lovingly" given a the name I.T (mostly cause I had a hard time prouncing his name properly)
Here's Thang;

   My name is Thang and I graduated from Quang Nam University Specialized in Information Technology. There are four People in my family. I have been working six months for Giving It Back To Kids. From my point of view, it's not very long, but not too short a time. Actually I am very happy for doing such wonderful work like this.
GIBTK is an organization which helps unfortunate people, saves many lives and gives love to them. That is an important thing making me love and be excited about this job more and more.
GIBTK team!
   I have been learning a lot of valuable things while working here such as leading skills, living skills, health or sharing from leaders and colleagues as well. Not only does it help me a lot in my job, but also in life. I remembered the time when I entered office and I was shy and afraid of not doing my job well. However, thanks to the guidance as well as the helping of my colleagues, I got used to the work environment and did it better and better.
   As a member of GIBTK, I have chances to travel to many places that have difficulties in economics, are short of water and food, and witness many poor lives. Children have to come to school on foot from a very long way. It is such a hard life. When GIBTK supports them with a house, or a buffalos, cow or pigs it improves their lives. GIBTK gives bicycles to children so that they can go to school easier and faster than they did before. It may be a small thing for us, but it is a super big present for them. It's happiness. It's motivation. It helps those children to be more confident in their lives and have better futures.

  In addition, I also honorably go to the mountain area in Quang Nam Province where many minority people are living. There is craggy terrain, inconvenient travel and difficult conditions. School is far and some children even have to walk eight kilometers to school, wear old patched clothes, with no hat, umbrella or shoes. In spite of having too many difficulties, they are hardly upset or disappointed with their own situations. They are simple and appreciate what they have. Smiles are always on their lips. Water filters, clothes, backpacks and sandals were given to them by the Organization. I saw happiness in their eyes and my heart got warmer. I just wanted to say "thank you" to GIBTK.
  I want to help other people and bring happiness to someone else. And I did it, and it was even beyond my expectation and I feel that I have grown. This is a wonderfully meaning period of time for me.
GIBTK is not only a place of work, but also a school of life which teaches me great things that I have never ever known. And now, I can make clear the saying that "Life is for others, not only yourself".
I really love GIBTK, love this big family, love you all.
Thank you so much!

Sincerely;
 Thang Duy
