Thi Bich Diep is 48 years old. She has a congenital heart disease and high blood pressure. She has to take a health exam and get her medicine every three months. Because of weakness, she has to stay at home and take care of her three children while her husband, who is the breadwinner in the family, is working as a barber.
The two of Diep's daughters are healthy and alert but her only son, who is 12 years old has cerebral palsy and epileptic, cannot go to school. This family belongs to the poor household in the village so they were luckily supported by local and insurance with the treatment cost for both the mother and the son. She easily gets tired, especially in the cold winter like this time.

She really likes the Tet shop where she can  choose the best gifts for her children  for the soon to be TET, tThis years Lunar New Year is coming Feb. 9th. She said in happiness: "This is the first time I can buy lovely toys, nice cloths and delicious cakes like this. I think this year my children can invite their friends to my house to share with them precious presents they got. Cause many previous Tets, they were so unconfident about our poverty". This miserable woman is sincerely grateful to Giving It Back To Kids for granting her family a chance to have a warmer Tet holiday. She is sure that her kids will be excited and feel her love for them.

The 40 year-old father Nguyen Tai shared with pride after shopping for his 4 children:" Tet 2016 will be so special to my family, especially my children. Actually my family could not afford to buy expensive things for Tet holiday many years ago. My wife and I are farmers so we cannot do much for our children. We belong to the poorest household of the commune so I feel so lucky to be selected for this Tet shop. Today I was able to purchase nice gifts for them with my own labor.

I am sure that my children will be proud of me. Before I came here, they reminded me to buy candies and cookies for them. Now I am so excited to get home to show them the gifts. This program is so meaningful to me in particular and other parents in general. It builds up the family values, which make us feel good about ourselves. I would like to say thank you very much to GIBTK for providing us such qualified and diverse goods so that we can choose the best for our children. Tet 2016 will surely bring more happiness and pride than ever. Thank you so much!"

A forty-five year old father, Nguyen Van Trung excitedly took his small son and wife to our Tet shop with desire of buying Tet's outfits for him although he and his wife are sick. After choosing a favorite toy and cookie for the son, he shared happily: "This is my first time taking my son to buy him many things for Tet. Because of our financial difficulty, we have not bought anything for our holiday yet. But now, thanks to this shop, I am able to buy him his favorite truck toy, which is expensive if we bought outside.

I am much happier to see him choosing his favorite toys delightedly. My wife and I have never been so proud of myself that we can afford all what he likes. I will never be able to buy such these expensive things before. Thank you very much for giving me this precious opportunity." Although it took much time for his son to choose what he wanted, the father and wife were patient waiting until he finally decided to buy. From little things, they showed how much they love him and being greatly proud to buy for him without concerning about prices.
