When I was 7 or 8 years old, I dreamed more than once of becoming a superheroine someone who could destroy monsters, eliminate evil, save the world, and help those in need.

Now, as I approach the age of 30, working as a teacher of Life Skills and Emotional Health at Giving It Back To Kids, I finally understand that you don’t need to be a superhero to save the world. All it takes is doing something wholeheartedly along with the mission of bringing value and making a positive change in someone's life and you can become a heroine in your own heart.
I am honored to serve the mission of GIBTK through the Life Skills & Emotional Health program
A speaker once said: “A hundred million raindrops fall, and not one lands in the wrong place. The people we meet are never by chance.”
Although I haven’t been working at the organization for very long, I believe I’ve come to the right place at the right time. You know why? Because the people I’ve met here are truly incredible.
Life skills and emotional health are essential for all generations
Robert - a leader full of love and compassion; Ms. Tam - a gifted guide and mentor; Ms. Lanh and Ms. Nhung, two passionate and responsible leaders along with many other colleagues who are not only professionally competent but also deeply devoted to their work.
Seeing students excited about this subject makes me truly happy
But the biggest reason I’ve found the answer to the question that has long troubled me "Why am I here in this world?" lies in the students I’ve met, interacted with, and guided during this time. The journey of meeting and transforming a student’s life can’t be measured in hours, days, months, or even years - it is measured by faith.
I hope this faith will completely transform the lives of the children
I’ve often heard people say that today’s younger generation is very different from previous ones, that the rise of technology, electronics, and social media has caused them to “grow up” too fast. But if you truly pay attention and connect with them, you’ll realize that deep inside, they still possess the same innocence, sweetness, and desire to simply be themselves.
After the 2025 Life Skills – Emotional Health course, I received many touching messages and heartfelt feedback from students. In one message, a student wrote:
“After all the time we spent together, you taught me such valuable lesson skills I would never have known without you. During class, I was often passive and insecure, but you were always there to encourage and support me.”
Another message said:
“On behalf of all the students of class 10/4 at High School, and from the bottom of my own heart, I want to sincerely thank you. Thank you for giving us such meaningful lessons. Thank you for your patience despite our noise and mischief. Thank you for your wholehearted dedication that gave us such valuable life lessons for our journey of growing up.”
And: “Thank you so much for teaching me valuable life skills. Thanks to you, I’ve learned how to listen, care for others, and be more thoughtful.”
These words strengthen my belief in a new generation that is full of promise and gratitude. They also give me powerful motivation to keep walking on this path bringing value and love to the future generations of our country.
